The Family Carer Network is comprised of people with a developmental disability and their families who are on the Wait List for services in El Paso, Park and Teller Counties. They are encouraged to network, share stories, share resources, find new information, and to help each other through common experiences.

The Family Carer Network (FCN) is facilitated by The Resource Exchange. As the Network has grown, The Resource Exchange will continue to host the meetings, while the Network will become more independent to govern and operate by itself.
Members of the FCN are people with developmental disabilities and their families who are on Wait List for services at The Resource Exchange. They may also be people who support and advocate for those on the Wait List and actively seek to change policies and laws that direct the services and supports for people with developmental disabilities.
Members are encouraged to join the Resource Forum that is available through this Web site. The Forum will allow conversations between members, which can be opportunities to help resolve problems, find new solutions, new resources, or others with which to commiserate.
